FarmVille has gained a huge following from fans of all ages ever since it was released as an application on Facebook last year.
Honestly speaking, it can get very addictive at times, consuming a couple of hours or even more if you’re truly addicted to video games.
Many people usually play FarmVille as a means of escaping from their hectic and stressful everyday lives.
In FarmVille, you are placed in the shoes of a farmer who has to build and run a successful farm. You can accomplish your goals by doing various activities such as planting and harvesting crops and tending to your farm animals.
Don’t let the cartoon graphics and simple interface fool you, the game actually requires some planning and strategies in order to grow a successful farm.
In this article, I will explain a couple of FarmVille tips and secrets to help you get ahead of the other players.
There is an option to send and receive gifts to your friends and neighbors in FarmVille. Sometimes, neighbors will give you the same gift twice. If you have no use for the extra gifts, you can actually sell them to earn coins. However, you will need to have a lot of neighbors for this to work so be sure to add as many as you can.
Another useful tip to keep in mind is that you shouldn’t spend unnecessarily on animals or things that take up space in your land just yet. Since the land on your farm is limited, you should try and conserve as much land as possible to plant crops.
Carefully pick the proper crops to plant. Generally speaking, different crops will reap different benefits. For example, planting raspberry seeds could earn you ribbons, but you will not be able to receive as much experience points compared to other crops
The type of crops that you choose to plan should help you to reach your goal in FarmVille. For example, if you want to earn more coins, then you should plant blueberry crops because they provide the most coin returns.
Since blueberry crops only take a couple of hours to grow, you can plant them and harvest them almost immediately. If you know that you’re going to be out for the whole day and you can’t make it back in a few hours, you can opt for pumpkin or tomato seeds, which take up to 8 hours to grow.
Another useful tip that I recommending using is to choose a couple of different crops to plant in your farm instead of just one type of crop. You don’t want to end up harvesting all your crops and having to wait again.
If you decide to raise animals, remember to place them in a specific area so that you can save space on your farm. Don’t waste your time constructing a pen for your farm animals because they do not provide any experience to maintain them.
